Hi! I’m sorry I missed the happy hour but I’m excited for my second season of freezing saddles! I live in Petworth and commute to L’Enfant Plaza, and I like riding on the Anacostia Riverwalk Trail, W&OD, and elsewhere in search of coffee, beer, ice cream, etc. I’m also a tandem captain with the Metro Washington Association of Blind Athletes and I’m sponsoring a tandem prize this year. I’m looking forward to riding with and meeting all of you and getting in some more miles and points once I’m back in town.

Hi Shira and everybody! I’m in Shaw and also like to do the ATT a lot and recently the Arlington loop because that’s where Calvin and Hobbes hang out for Calvin Ball. It’s on the thread somewhere, but I always have a hard time finding it so I end up doing an internet search. I do a lot of riding at night and early evening.

I’m open to trying to get better at the forum, but sometimes Strava is just easier. I wish searches for threads on the forum were easier. It’s also hard on a phone ‘cause it’s tiny. But I’ve been having fun with Calvin Ball!

Hello, Joan, I don’t have your email, so I’m using your team thread to reach out to you and say congratulations on your BAFS2019 awesome riding! I know we’ve met and we were even on the same BAFS team a few years ago, but I regret we never got to talk much. I admire your commitment to significant riding every day, and it’s an honor to be near you on the BAFS individual leader board. Would you like to ride together sometime? How about an Arlington Loop or even your neighborhood meander? And of course, there’s always the Arlington/Falls Church coffees.
