The vid was shot on my phone, so it came out OK. I just have to compile it. I’ll post when done.

Once I realized last weekend that this is the type of thing to practice for 10 minutes here and there inside, I made a lot of progress. Still not brave enough to do it clipped in though. Let me know if there’s too much back-and-forth movement.

Excellent Josh! About that crank positioning, it’s a lot trickier with the fixie as you know. If you ever want to mix your love for fixie with mountain biking, I plan to set up a silly scorcher (fixie mtb) ride at the Frederick Watershed in the Spring. Here’s an embankment/side ride which isn’t terribly frightening. It’s on 15th st in Crystal City, underneath Route 1:

Don’t try it when there’s traffic! This was late on a Sunday with very light traffic.

Here’re a few more point opportunities.

1. Ride onto, along, then down either of the 2 retaining walls on the MBT (in the video below) for 15 points each. It doesn’t matter which direction you go. Only 1 attempt counts for each wall.
2. Ride completely up to the top of the stairway along the MBT for 32 points (one for each step). I messed up on the last step 😡
3. Ride all the way down the same stairway for 16 points.

Obviously no dabbing (putting a foot/hand/body part down or leaning against anything). Drop bar double points count for all of these.
