    3. Tweet or Instagram those pictures with the hashtag #FS2015.

You’re going to have to wade through a fair amount of Nigerian reggae-dancehall and Farming Simulator 2015 images.

I was thinking of offering a similar instagram based prize, and found that the following hashtags don’t turn up any results:

    #BAFS2015
    #FreezingSaddles2015

#freezingsaddles only turns up two results, one is a photo of the award ceremony from last year and the other is a cold horse saddle.

Oh well gee, I guess I should have checked that :

#BAFS2015 it is (unless you want that, then I can make it something else or if you want to team up we can do that too!)

Does teaming up mean less work!? then yes!

Any chance you’d add Flickr to your list? It supports tagging as well as non-square and high quality images.

We could probably pull this into the contest app too — or at least pull some images in. Now that the stravalib supports image streams, this should be reltively easy. (Americancyclo asked about that last year.)

This would be Instagram only, of course. (And only Instagram images that get associated with Strava activities.)

    That would be pretty cool!

Probably not but that shouldn’t preclude someone from running a flicker #BAFS2015 contest if they want. I know a decent number of cyclists use flickr. Just not me.

I am thinking having a photostream on the main page.

I need to clear out the db and update the configs — start with just the BA team to pull in some data.

Don’t forget to check compatibility between the dojigger and the frobnitz. People often overlook that.

I removes those, figuring they were the reason it was flagged as a porn site.

I seem to be doing something wrong. I am putting #BAFS2015 in the instagram description, but pictures aren’t showing up in the Freezing Saddles feed (so I don’t know if they’re showing up in the photo feed for the contest either). I tried posting one yesterday and one this morning.

Or do I need to tag a person as #BAFS2015? (I’ve just been putting that in the description).

What does it mean to “associate a picture with a strava activity”?

    Any thoughts?

Is there anyplace to go see all the collected pictures? (other than just searching for BAFS2015 in instagram)

The hashtag #BAFS2015 is only for instagram. There is no direct connection to the Freezing Saddles website.

I believe that the photo has to be on instagram and associated with a ride on strava.

To link your strava and instagram accounts:

go to your Strava Profile>Settings>Social Connections.

authorize there and photos should start showing up on your strava rides. this probably doesn’t work with manually entered rides.

The pictures have been great so far. If you want to see all of them at once, on your phone, go to Instagram and click on the search icon at the bottom of the screen, type #bafs2015 in the search box and choose HASHTAGS.

If you want to see them on a web site, try going here (you may have to login with your instagram id and authorize gramfeed): http://www.gramfeed.com/instagram/tags#bafs2015
