I can vouch for the general awesomeness of this bike, as mine has 4500 miles on it. It’s a fantastic commuter, with room for big enough knobby tires to go play in the snow if one is so inclined. If you are a tall person in need of an excellent bike, you should buy this one.

I’ve got the previous model year built up with Sora. Volpe is DEFINITELY a fantastic commuting rig and $800 is a great price.

You guys are both making me feel bad for abandoning such a beautiful bike. Who am I kidding–I was already sad. I suppose I’ll fall in love with the Masi in time.

Also, don’t feel bad – I have often caught myself lusting after the newer Volpe with the disc brakes…
