So I’ve decided to create a (not-so) pointless prize of “survivor”.

This is for the person who is verified as coming back from a bike related injury(1). I.E. Hit by car (me), fell off the bike and broke a bone/dislocated shoulder, etc.

The incident must have kept you off the bike for some time last calendar year.

Most miles wins…something. Currently thinking of an origami wheelchair.
And something else to be decided later.

How long is “some time”? Does it count if I crashed while mountain biking and broke my wrist, but still did a 207 mile gravel race 8 weeks later?
I was literally “off the bike” for about 26 hours before I did my first splinted sleaze ride. 😎

Note to everyone who needs a leaderboard based on a hashtag – if you point your browser to https://freezingsaddles.com/pointless/hashtag/somehashtag (not yet because it hasn’t been pushed to prod but soon), you’ll get a leaderboard for every ride for a participating member that has #somehashtag in the title.

Only letters and numbers are allowed. And it’s case-sensitive, so make sure if your hashtag is SteveORules that no one is using steveorules or they won’t get counted. And note that while you have to include the # in your ride title (ie Morning Ride #wowthisisalongexplanation), you do NOT include the hashtag in the url (ie https://freezingsaddles.com/pointless/hashtag/wowthisisalongexplanation).
