I’ve got a “classic” (I guess) 1993 Specialized Epic. Lugged carbon fiber with the full paint job, not the one with the polished lugs. I bought it new in Honolulu in 1993. Original 105 STI group. It’s in good shape — been in the garage for many years as I’ve gone through knee and shoulder injuries and I’m now chasing two kids around. Was always a nice comfortable ride and someday was planning on a rebuild but I seriously doubt I’ll get to that any time soon. Would like to find someone who appreciates it so trying to avoid donating it or sticking it up on Craigslist. I can post pictures if needed. Anyone interested?

UPDATE: It is spring cleaning time and I am trying to clean out the garage. If anyone thinks they can make use use of this, let me know and I am willing to give it away. It probably needs new tires and tubes, but the components may still have some life left in them . . .

What size is it? And at least one pic would be nice to see. Thanx!

I can’t find a size marking on it, but I measured C-T and that leads me to believe that it is a 56cm frame. It has to be that or 54 to fit me. I’ve tried to attach a few pictures. The frame is is very good shape. In the spirit of full disclosure, there are a few scuffs here and there that don’t penetrate the finish and the “Specialized” decals on the right side are peeling. I would want to keep the pedals . . .

Lovely bike, and kudos to you for so generously seeking a new home for it.

I’d love to pick this up for a friend of mine! He recently moved to Maryland to work for EMS and is looking for something to commute on!
