My prediction, since everything I’ve been doing since May is leading up to this for Freezing Saddles 2018: the #kidical standings will be a lot closer at the top.

I welcome the competition. My overall mileage will be lower this year because we’re heading to Australia for a wedding/vacation in February and I’ll miss at least 2 days (travel time + time change), likely more while we’re gone. And my #kidical mileage should be lower because the kids can ride their own dang bikes on a bunch of our #beerneuring trips.

It still counts as #kidical as long as it’s with the kids though, right?

Not sure we’ve ever had a rule clarification. I’ve never counted it unless I’m pulling at least one.

That has been my understanding as well (and what I recall when I searched through old forum posts during last year’s FS trying to better understand what I had gotten myself into – I think it was described as rides where you were towing or carrying kids).

I asked this in 2014 and got a clarification.

That I’m not allowed to duct tape a kid to my bike and do HP laps just to win a prize.

Anyone have predictions for Freezing Saddles this year?

I’ve been working on my sock collection to up the ante for the sock game.

Komorebi is kid sized. I’m voting tow rope to Komorebi counts as #kidical.

But then it wouldn’t count as a ride for her, would it?

I don’t see this as a problem unless she’s on my team again.

I think this is totally legal as far as Freezing Saddles is concerned. I can’t speak for the Park Police, though
