    Note that these are only individual rides. I can get a sum of miles above X temperature or something more complex, if desired. This might also be one of the better ones for human interpretation, since I’m sure everyone feels that rides out in the desert during ‘freezing saddles’ are more “unfreezing” than the 70F local rides.

    I think the official leaderboard won’t clear out the [apparently?] bogus entry(s) from Mark Williams until it does the daily refresh.

    Okay, I am told that the leaderboard is being corrected.

    I declare this rule for the first place award: No point dumping, no messing with points, no nothing. This is the honor system and a lot of people have been working hard at this. While I expect there will be a final push – suspicious stuff is going to get your team DQd for first place at my sole discretion. Play fair and be nice.

    Thanks! I don’t think I need anything more complex. This will be somewhat subjective based on who appears to be most in violation of the “suffer through winter” spirit of the competition. Plus whoever shows up to happy hour.

    While it was not actually summer in Mexico, I was there on vacation with wife, two sons (4 & 2), and my in-laws (so there was some suffering ha!). The hotel had about two dozen banged up Mexican mountain bikes…free to check out whenever you want. I was able to get away, often in sandals and bathing suit, to get some rides in. It was a welcome escape from some rather awful weather in DC that week.
