ParticipantGiven that it seems that The Powers That Be will be catering to my refined tastes and serving the only two kinds of pie I like,* I’ll try to make it—meet up with y’alls in Georgetown, probably.
*Hot and cold

ParticipantOh my that is a beautiful picture. I am almost speechless (and that is quite an accomplishment).
Yum.

ParticipantI’m excited for the ride, but it looks like a small part of the route will conflict with another event. I saw that on Saturday morning will be the Four Courts Four Miler https://www.runpacers.com/race/four-courts-four-miler/map/ in Arlington which will use Wilson Blvd between Clarendon and Courthouse among other roads. It starts at 9 a.m., but I do not know how long any road closures might last. I’ll post something about this on the FB page, too.
I’m really looking forward to all that pi

ParticipantHate to be a last minute cancel but I’m not feeling 100% tip top and the thought of riding for a few hours through the rain has lost some of its appeal I guess that means more pie for you! Enjoy!

ParticipantMany thanks to Bob, Pete, Sol, and everyone else who made this ride happen! I really enjoyed riding the first leg with you all. And thanks, Mike, for pushing me a bit on the WOD so I didn’t miss Sol’s yummy treats!

ParticipantThanks to all those who organized, marshaled, offered pie, and helped make what have been a dreary day into a great, pie-filled ride.

ParticipantBummed I couldn’t make it. Pictures look great. Boomer may have told you I am really sick–some sort of intestinal virus it seems.

ParticipantHahahah! You took a picture of me taking a picture of my pie! 😎
It was an awesome ride, and a great comeback for me after a couple of weeks off the bike for surgery and recovery. Thanks to everyone who made it happen and everyone who checked with me to make sure I was still doing okay throughout the ride! The cycling community here rocks!

ParticipantYa know, everyone keeps talking about how epic this pie day was–3/14/15 etc. But no one ever mentions how we missed an even better one–3/14/1592 6:53:59. I wonder if there was a good bike ride that day?
