Freezing Saddles Photography Contest – 2021

As I mentioned earlier, I am sponsoring the photography contest again.

The point is to capture the spirit of Freezing Saddles in photographs. Think artsy fartsy. I definitely prefer photos with at least some hint of a bicycle (could be a shadow cast by your bicycle).

1. Post all photographs by the start of spring in this thread.
2. If I choose your photo as a winner, I will ask you for an original copy in order to get a higher resolution one. Be on the lookout for that.
3. Last year’s winners ended up as a digital wallpaper calendar. I am still mulling over what this year’s end result will be.

I have decided to cancel this prize because we’re more than half-way through the competition, and no one has posted any submissions. Besides, we appear to have plenty of other pointless prizes this year. Perhaps next year.

So sorry, I’m afraid that for me, this one got lost in the many, many posts this year. I enjoyed last year’s “calendar”–it’s up on the wall in the kitchen. Hopefully we can try again next year, as you say.
