“May allegedly”? Doesn’t sound like probable cause for an investigation to me!

Last year I seriously considered and tentatively planned on showing up for this. I continued to seriously consider and tentatively plan on showing up right up until the time I had to decide between getting dressed and getting on the bike, or getting undressed and getting in bed. I do believe I even started to get dressed for the bike. Then I… got undressed and went to bed.

So, I’m seriously considering showing up this year, but based on past performance I don’t know how likely that is. If anyone else is heading there from my area (Terp, worktheweb?) company on the way there might be extra incentive for bike>> bed.

If anyone is coming/going to the Shirlington/Fairlington area, I may consider going. I am not too keen on biking home that late at night by myself. Any takers? :)

A tentative yes here. Let’s stay in touch. There may be more as well.

Sunyata and Kathy, that’s the way I ride home.

Ditto for me. If I can do it, I’ll be riding back to Shirlington too.

    Can you not read?

    1) Steve O is DEFINITELY NOT bringing a bottle of Lemoncello again to do a toast. That would be illegal, so it’s not happening. For sure. Totally not happening.

How much more clear can it be?

When do folks think they will start showing up down there? I was thinking I would get there around 8 and probably only ride there for like two hours. I am not tough enough to ride until 1130.

I’m probably going to be there around 7 or 7:30 or so and follow a similar schedule. I just don’t know how to recognize other BAFS people. Aside from riding by everybody saying “Freezing saddles? Freezing saddles?”

I have a blue BA forum tag hanging off my seatbag! And a Bianchi.

If it’s anything like last year, recognizing won’t be hard. If you see someone one a bike, they are Freezing Saddles.

I’ll probably be down around 830.

I am planning on being there, but since I work in DC, I might not take the trip back home only to turn around (and I do get the irony in that statement … since I am going to a place to ride in circles…). I would definitely enjoy the company on the late night ride back, though.

Anyone with time to kill in DC want to grab a bite to eat together before heading down to Hains Point?

I’ll be more on the later shift side, probably arriving 8:30-9:00. I plan to be there to toast the official end of FS for another year, along with the other ELITE badasses.

I plan on being there, and will join the late night convoy in the shirlington direction.

What is the distance of a Hains Point lap, asked by someone who has never rode one before.

A full lap is 3.2 miles.

For reference, this is my Strava ride from last year’s FSLNHPP.
