I had thought that a convoy hauling the PA gear would be kind of cool, but trying to get everything back home with people leaving at different times in different directions is too complicated – plus would be subject to weather conditions.

UPDATE ON RESTON/VIENNA CONVOY — Not sure if anyone was planning on joining us but I am changing the START to Vienna. We will leave Vienna at 5 pm. We will be flying with a tail wind on our way to Contes but fighting a pretty good head wind on the way back to Vienna.

Thanks Conte’s for hosting last night and to the organizers — it was lots of fun.

Nice photo of team 16. Biggest congrat’s to all of you and to the winner in the individual category, Chris Watson, who not only racked up an amazing number of points but was the envy of many of us for her ride locations. Was great to see Scott Binde up and about last night. Speedy recovery Scott!
