FREE Bike Maintenance Clinics at Tri360

Over the next few weeks, we’re offering two FREE bike clinics taught by our service manager, Matt.

– Friday, August 2nd (this Friday) @ 6:30 p.m.: Bike Maintenance Basics – This is the perfect course if you want hands on practice in changing a tube. Bring your own wheel (with tire and tube) and a CO2 cartridge because we’re letting you join in on the fun! We’ll also teach basic bike maintenance procedures in this class.

– Friday, August 9th @ 6:30 p.m.:Bike Maintenance Advanced – Building on your bike maintenance knowledge from the week before, we’ll break down what you need to know about front and rear derailleur adjustments, brake adjustments, cable tensioning and what you need to bring your bike in for — again taught by our service manager, Matt.

Both clinics will be taught at Tri360, located at 2121 N. Westmoreland St. Arlington. Blocks from the East Falls Church metro station!

Just signed up for next week’s “Advanced” clinic – I’m relatively comfortable changing the tube in a flat tire, before but could definitely use at least a refresher course on derailleurs and Fetzer valves and the rest of those more complicated bikey bits. Looking forward to it!
