that’s pretty awesome! Maybe in 3 years or so, I’ll take you up on it heh. I don’t have too many miles yet

That’s awesome. I’ve been tracking my rides pretty religiously on Strava since May — I wonder if they can automatically create a tracking map from all those rides. I’m going to check!

There’s a third party tool for Strava here:

I wanted to make my own, mostly for fun, but also because that tool takes a long time to load all of my rides.

Thanks for that link! I don’t have a ton of rides, so it didn’t take very long, maybe 1 minute or so.

Same issue as Greenbelt — most of my riding is back and forth to work.

I’ve only been using Strava regularly since the end of May, so this is what I’ve got:

I get around, it would seem…and this doesn’t include rides in Alaska, Vancouver, Richmond, the Eastern Shore, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania. I just did the last 100 rides though, so there are quite a few more that the tool didn’t pick up.

I discovered that I’ve only been using Strava since late July (and here I thought I had been using it since May…)

    These are my Mid-Atlantic rides:

I don’t post much of my training or daily commutes, so these are just from 59 selected rides (4022 miles).

I got a Garmin Edge 500 in late Feb, but was tracking most my rides since August or so last year using a car GPS in my back pocket.

So this is a bit over 14 months. It’s missing what I managed of last year’s Kill Bill.

I’ve been using Strava since March. Hopefully the map of my rides turns out ok.

Thanks for the link! I’ve only been using Strava since July, and have a lot more left to explore. I definitely need to complete the rest of the W&OD along with a few of my other favorites including McArthur to Potomac, MD, and Lake Needwood at the northern end of the Rock Creek trail. I feel like my new goal is to fill in the map as much as possible (I’m seriously lacking on the MD trails)!

Thanks for posting these. I’m enjoying seeing what routes people are using. I think we might need another happy hour in October so I can ask some really silly basic questions about Strava.
