The bridge over the pipe is well constructed. Yesterday, I walked my bike over it; however, today, it was in much better shape. Some asphalt is on the west side to smooth the transition from the trail to the plywood. Many thanks to the construction people!
They were working on the ramp when I went through too. I was going to rant about how they were just using it to park their tools and using it as a workbench. I didn’t realize they were making it wider. Looks like they were working late to make it happen, so sounds like they’re being responsible.
The improved ramp was much nicer. It was half again wider (1.5 sheets of plywood) and the slopes seemed better (sorry to the skateboarders on the forum). That is likely to be the trail for the next 6 weeks or so.
Some awesome traction strips have been placed across the new FMR cyclocross bridge to keep it from getting slippery. I couldn’t take a photo, but kudos to whoever did this!
