    I quite enjoyed coming across lots of familiar faces (and/or helmet & bike combos, depending) during Bike to Work Day and Bike DC. It made me think that it would be great to try and connect with folks here, putting faces to names. Anyone else interested?

    For the first effort, I was thinking of something Arlington-based (think Clarendon) and after work (think 6p), as that seems to be not terribly inconvenient for our most active posters. That said, I’m more than happy to commit to helping make it happen in a more MD-friendly locale for the second effort (maybe somewhere in Mt. Pleasant?).

    Interest? Advice? Offers to buy the first round? Post it here, and I’ll try to manage it into an actual time and place if this is something we want to see happen.

    6pm on Wednesday, June 8th, at Jay’s Saloon & Grille (3114 10th Street North Arlington, VA 22201).

    I wanna go if noobs are allowed, the mrs and I will not be riding there but if I need to dress the part I understand.

    Maybe the bikes will stay in the car as proof, if that is required for admission.
