Ooh, ooh, are they entering this decade and ditching PHP?

Hmm. I don’t know if I’ve ever witnessed a forum software upgrade that went smoothly, on any website. I hope the update doesn’t crash the system or delete all the old messages and threads. That has happened on some other popular sites. Runner’s World rebooted their entire forum and deleted all forum posts before the changeover date. It would be a real shame if something like that happens here.

P.S. The forum was down for maintenance about an hour ago. Was that the upgrade, or is there more to come?

Looks like things have been completed. Anyone have problems?

Looks normal to me so far. All the threads seem to be here. New posts are showing up too.

…and most importantly: Elite still works!

I can’t get beyond page 1 of the heart, heart, heart, heart string. If I push page 2, or Next or even Last I just redirects me to the first post in the thread.

I can’t replicate that. Anyone else have issues?

Mikey, try logging out and then back in?

Is it just that one thread? Could be a browser issue because it doesn’t like those hearts in the URL. What browser are you using?

That’s because we installed security devices to stop interlopers from listening in on our super, double secret Team 5 (soon to be named something awesome) plans for global domination (or at least domination of Freezing Saddles).

Yeah, but I’m pretty sure this is the wrong forum to discuss them.

I just snuck into the heart-heart-heart thread. Uh, actually, no, I didn’t do that. I did not even think about the heart-heart-heart thread, thus I did not trespass.

You did not see this post.

Deleting the browser cache might help too.

Actually, this is happening for me too.

I believe Mikey and I are both Navy employees. I was going to make some sort of joke about it being because NMCI is heartless, but it also happens on the diamond, spade, and music note threads. I can go directly to the last post from the new posts list, but if I try to go forward within the thread, it takes me back to the first page.

I do not know for sure if it was doing that before the upgrade or whatever yesterday.

Are you using Internet Explorer? I can browse through those character title threads, page by page, in Google Chrome.

    Yes, Internet Explorer.
