    Like your thinking… I’ll see what I can do — just hang out down there til about 4:30pm though, and I’ll bring whatever tourists I can ;)

    Sorry to miss this – a friend is coming into town for the weekend & I don’t think her idea of DC sightseeing is a trail clean-up. [emoji849]

    We could use a few more people for the Mount Vernon Trail cleanup this Saturday from 2-4, meeting at the Washington Sailing Marina.

    There is a 100% chance that we are getting a beer afterwards.

    I’m scheduled to do a FMR clean up shift between Barcroft Fitness Center and Columbia Pike in the morning, but will try to get to the sailing marina in the afternoon too if I can.

    I’m signed up and will bring M under the assumption that there will be some child-accessible trash to pick up. Still working on the appropriate post-cleanup bribe (so this may be an expensive effort for me…)

    Great to be part of a nice turnout today and get to work on the trash with a proper sized bag! Sorry I couldn’t join the post-trail festivities… And thanks @Josephine for the excellent homemade cookies!
    (I don’t think there was a thread posted here for the 4MR Barcroft cleanup event, which took place before the MVT cleanup, but thanks Judd / organizers for not making an overlap, so I could “work my ‘hood” as well, earlier today!)
