First Bug Eaten and First Roadrage of 2012!

The bug was tasty, the road rage, notsomuch but it was just special enough to report-

WO&D crossing Wheile EB, caught a nasty “spandex fa%%t” comment from a meathead in a Red VW Jetta. I totally should have blown it off, but instead (stupidly) said something glib about my nice toned legs. Guy completely lost it (my legs are pretty nice). Come the next crossing, (Sunrise Valley?) he’s waiting for me up the road a bit- when I started to cross he gunned it and cut into the sidewalk cutout yelling obscenities. Wow.

Lesson- maintain better brain to mouth filter.

The GWP… It’s a net positive if you get through without being mowed down.

This morning I had a very nice guy in an old diesel Mercedes slow down for me on the GWP crossing right before the bridge. But don’t for a second that his kindness slowed down the mid-40’s woman in the Yukon working her blackberry while she merged. Not for a second.
