February shop ride suggestions?

I think this is a great idea (I really enjoyed the Holiday shopping ride in December). My only regret (Dear Lord) is that Mass will spike my ability to make any Sunday events.

Maybe I should alternate Saturdays and Sundays. We could get started earlier on Saturdays too. Hmmm… Let me think about this.

I’m up for anything running down the MBT into or through the city. Plus I’m a heathen so Sundays are fine by me. Mt Vernon is a great ride but might get a bit long from Greenbelt.

OK, while we decide on the best dates and times for a more regular schedule, we’re going to go ahead with this Sunday’s ride in the Beltsville farms. The weather looks decent (famous last words) with highs in the mid 40s.

Date/time/pace: Sunday Feb 5, 1pm-3:30pm. 22 miles, moderate/relaxed, no drop pace. Rest stop at half way point.

Excellent suggestion (and a favorite Mass of mine when I was a kid), but our current Parish only runs one big Mass on the weekends and my Bride sings in the choir. As much as I love biking, I love the Bride more….
