Afternoon volunteer event next Saturday February 27th from 1-3p.m. – Trail edging and invasive vegetation removal – Sign up at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/142335205431
I could desperately use 9 more volunteers for this event to try to get back on schedule after having to cancel the past two Saturday’s events because of ice.

Got a good picture of the forum’s own Dewey working with a nice view on Saturday. There’s a few small spots left but volunteers have edged the trail from Trollheim to Humpback Bridge sometimes uncovering a significant amount of trail.

We’ve got several upcoming events to do more edging and also some events to remove foliage causing some of the notorious blind curves on the trail. Sign up at https://MountVernontrail.org/events
