    How sad! And frightening to contemplate…! Makes me wonder / paranoid about some of the trees I ride under every day through nearby Barcroft Park. We’ve had such stormy / windy weather this spring.
    I have only ridden that path twice in 16 months… after the first, I thought “well that pavement is so awful (tree root buckled) I don’t need to ride there ever again.” Then just 4 days ago I rode it again, as I needed to reach the shopping plaza up the road.
