ParticipantYou know, that’s not an entirely impossible suggestion except that I’d need to bring a bike inside…

Well, if only one has food….

ParticipantI will show up if I have time to pickup a U lock today. I don’t want to walk home after the drinks. I have been spoiled with bike friendly businesses around here. Most places let me take the bike inside including my bank (Presidential Bank) at Rosslyn Metro.

ParticipantI will bring an extra lock or two. I owe some lock karma, anyway – Arlingtonrider saved me at the WABA meeting in Shirlington a few weeks ago after I forgot my lock key.

Mark, I take up your offer. Thank you.
BTW, as the weather get colder, don’t forget to remove your balaclava before walk in the bank. I forgot to remove mine last winter at this bank and all tellers jumped up when I walk in.

Another one has food, but requires suit and tie and they don’t provide bike parking…
The other is helping give out bike lights for Alexandria.
Still a tough choice.

If that’s all that’s stopping you, I can assure you that there will be plenty of opportunities to give out bike lights in the future!

They finish up at 6:30, so I should be able to do both and get to the happy hour by 7 pm.

ParticipantTurns out I have to be home by 7:30, but I’ll be there early too. If anyone wants to meet up before 6:30…

The best I can do today is to bang on the window, and then ride away. And that would be at 445.
Next time perhaps? Weekend brunch would work for me too, next time.October 20, 2011 at 2:42 pm #931212Dirt
ParticipantWe’ll see how my day goes. I may be there early… 6-ish.

Meridian Pint in Columbia Heights (the DC Columbia Heights, not the Arlington one) has fantastic brunch and fantastic beer. And it’s 7 blocks from my house.

ParticipantWould love to check out Meridian Pint at some point, heard good things.
I can most likely be there by 6…gotta pass it by my big scary boss Tim though…:p

ParticipantI should be there shortly after 6, although I just found out I may need to teach an Aikido class at 6:30, so I might not make it…
