Taking shelter under a tree, not so much. (this applies to people in cars too– get out of your car and lie in the ditch)
And underneath an overpass is considered to be, in general, a very bad location. A lot of folks think it would be good, but basically a vaccum effect can take place. Be safe and have bailout points planned along the way if you need them!
