I did this last year and am registered to do it again this year. It was a well-run event. Mass start at 8:30 a.m., so you can leave DC area at 7 or so and arrive in time. Also, in a mass start century like this you have an excellent chance of ending up riding in a group of riders that are riding at your pace, as i did last year.
