Enormous triple tandem in the city

So, my kids have pretty much outgrown the longtail. Older daughter’s feet drag on the ground unless I yell at her. I am lusting after something like this triple tandem. What I’m wondering is how this will be riding in the city. Is it maneuverable enough to deal with DC streets, or is this really something for the W&OD or open country roads?

Yeah, sorry, I had forgotten it was flat-bar. l definitely would do hydro for flat-bar. You’ll have to find long hoses, of course!

Sounds expensive. I wouldn’t bother, as you’ll get better breaking with flat-bar disc unless you go hydro road shifters … But then full new drivetrain, likely new rear wheel too then, etc. Maybe for a $2k bike project?
