easy rides around Purcellville

Assuming I do get there tomorrow, and that I have enough “juice” to try for the century, I may want to try to get the extra miles in up there. BUT – I will not want to ride on fast 2 lane roads with no shoulders and lots of impatient rural drivers – and I won’t want to ride any real hills (not on the day I ride 100 miles for the first time).
I was thinking of riding up to where the breweries are, but that is only about a mile each way, and I could use more like 2 or 3 miles each way, I guess. ANy ideas?
