East Gate of the Washington Navy Yard Riverwalk

Staring today, Tuesday, 5 June 2011, the pedestrian trail outside the Washington Navy Yard, that runs between the intersection of 11th & O Streets SE and the Washington Navy Yard Riverwalk East end will be closed due to 11th Street Bridge construction. The trail will be closed weekdays for up to three weeks to facilitate demolition of the old 11th Street bridge. The trail will be made available on weekends when work is not being conducted.
