Driver assaults cyclist in Anne Arundel

I saw this on the news. Unbelievable!!!!!

It’s ridiculous that news editors and reporters still call assaults like this “accidents”. Maybe just force of habit, but this was no mere accident.

Super glad they have the guy in custody, but this is not the first incident in that area. I think I’ll not do any recreational rides over there for the time being.

It’s a shame he could be in such a bad Moody while behind the wheel.

To be fair, they use “incident” and “collision,” but not “accident” except where they are reporting the charges, one of which was “leaving the scene of an accident.”

Sounds like there is video of the entire event and that it has been shared with the police.
