Fortunately, there is no such person. The first three numbers are issued based on the geographical area where the Social Security number is issued, and 123 is not assigned. Yep, I’m the kind of nerd who knows such things.

I used to have fun being able to tell where people were born/immigrated in with that little fact, sadly they did away with it in 2011. So don’t try to pull it on whatever generation comes after millennials, it won’t work.

What they should have done was scrapped the system. Here’s to half measures!

It’s been taken care of. Looks like it might be an issue with the Tapatalk plugin. Our web host is running a malware scan.

It’s the lack of reflective markings that troubles me.

On another note, I have actually visited Farmville, VA. An old HS friend was a professor at Hampden Sydney College for a while, which is just outside of Farmville.

    Good for cyclocross practice.

If you can jump over a barrel, then you should be ready for a measly old 1-ft barrier.

But if you try and fall, would you be going over a barrel and falling? (Instead of going over the Falls in a barrel? Sorry.)

Thanks, Tim! I’m feeling a lot more secure that I won’t get a bunch of malware here.

Not a single Donkey Kong reference. D-.

For some reason, I never really liked Donkey Kong. I used to play Galaga, Space Invaders, Ms. Pac-Man and Centipede, but rarely Donkey Kong.

Turns out it was a Turkish hacker who compromised the web host’s admin account. We should be back to normal now, but if you see anything out of place please let us know!

Glad you figured it out! One thing I have found (and I run a website of my own) is that you vastly improve security if both the username and password are nonobvious. For example, my nick here is based on my real name. But using that nick as my username on my website would make it far too easy for a hacker to gain entry with a brute force password-guessing script. If both the username and the password are a random collection of letters and numbers, that is much harder.

Obviously, I don’t know the username for the admin panel of this forum. And not being a hacker, I won’t attempt to guess. But it may be something to consider if you haven’t already.
