I think Car2Go is running them. No word on schedule and registration, yet.

Diamond Derby and Crystal City BID both mentioned it on their Facebook pages. DD said there wouldn’t be advance registration for the Goldsprints. I couldn’t find out what the schedule is. They didn’t seem to know.

DD also posted a YouTube video of a Goldsprint competition at a different event. It’s just basically people “racing” each other while on bike trainers. Since I haven’t done any cyclocross training this year, I figured that the trainer sprint was a better option for me this time. But I’d like to find out the schedule. I can’t afford to hang out there for the full six hrs, if I can even make it at all.
