W&OD mid-afternoon – looked pretty much like this the whole way from mm5.0-9.0. No issues on 40s. Might get nasty tonight/tomorrow with refreeze – it was starting to get pretty slushy in a few spots.

Rode the W&OD east from Gallows to 4MR and the MVT starting around 8 tonight. It was definitely getting dicier than the afternoon. For the most part, the white bits with snow were good, but the mostly cleared bits had some ice lurking around that added to the challenge. The wind picking up made it much more “fun” (had the back almost blown out from under me a couple of times). All in all, doable if you need to taking it slow and steady…but not highly recommended

It was mostly icy ruts of death today. I bailed out to side streets.

Bluemont Junction :: Clear path of pavement almost to WOD

WOD Bluemont to MVT :: Patches of thin ice and snow pack. County / NVRPA did not clear the trail. No real problem on CX tires. No tracks or signs that anyone had wiped out. Bridges were fine.

MBT was an adventure this afternoon…lots of ice though mostly in the straights.
