I’ve done this the past several years but I can’t make it this year.
Always a fun time, but every year I’ve seen some pretty nasty crashes. Coming off the Whitehurst I think people pick up too much speed on bad pavement into a drastic slowdown caused by bike traffic.
Also, I’ve always started in the “intermediate” corral because I’m with a group of friends that does a lot less biking than I do. The inexperienced bikers agreed that doing the “advanced” corral is the way to go unless you have someone REALLY uncomfortable on a bike or little kids.
