So there’s about a dozen of us enjoying Bicycle Tag, but the thread has gone dormant. It would be more fun if more people joined in I believe, like in Freezing Saddles.
What’s missing, you ask? Points. And Pointless Prizes. And imaginary competition. And beer. Yes, beer.
Let’s try instituting some competition and some beer (that should get dkel and Rockford’s attention, at least)
Time to spice the game up with scoring. Here’s my rather contrived scoring system:
Points for being It = 5 + (4 – 0.1x) where x = hours since the TAG was posted. Speed counts.
Respond within an hour and earn 9 points. Respond after 20 hours and earn 7 points. Respond after 39 hours and earn 5.1 points. 40 hours or longer, 5 points.
Top point scorer each month wins a drink from me (beer at a happy hour or coffee at a coffee club). If I finish first or second then I will buy a drink for the top two finishers.

No one has scored in June yet, so the competition is wide open. If you’re out in the country this weekend, get a bike pic with a cow. Or be creative and find another way to take a picture of your bike with a cow.
