Cycling board game

This is one of those ideas that had never occurred to me, ever. I would never have thought there was a Cycling Board Games website either. Wouldn’t it take most of the fun out of cycling: being outdoors, moving along roads and trails, seeing interesting locations, getting exercise, riding fast in a race?

Not only are there bicycle games, but anything voted “Spiel des Jahres” (German for game of the year) has got to be good. Basically, the Germans have redirected all their marshal energies and ambitions into cardboard and boardgames (kind of jokey, kind of serious).
