    b) I was a bit disappointed in the seat bag that I bought because the seatpost strap Velcro snagged the heck out of my bike shorts

Any bag that has a seat post strap will do that… I covered mine in electrical tape to make it a little more slippery but not before it wore a hole in one of my favorite pairs of shorts.

Planet Bike is pretty awesome – I try to buy their products if I have a choice because they donate 25% of their profits to cycling causes. I’ve also heard more than one story like this about their customer service.

My old bag had a really long strap on it so the Velcro stayed safely away from the shorts :D

I got a package from Planet Bike yesterday!

I told them to surprise me and just send me something small, so they sent along a Blinky 3H and some Captain Safety Super Fun Reflective Stickers that I will put on my fenders if I ever get the @#$% things installed :P (I’m wishing I’d ordered the fenders from them!)

    Rock on, Planet Bike!

If you are ever in the Fairfax/Merrifield area, I have a full workshop and would be glad to help you get those fenders installed…. however, I do work for beer and compliments!

I just need to pop over to my friend’s shop and borrow the Dremel – trying to cut through fender stays with a cheap hacksaw is not cutting it. Ha. See what I did there? :D
