ParticipantThat’s my favorite of your bikes. If I was 4 feet taller I’d want to steal it.

ParticipantI was wondering about this. That section has been smooth for over a week now and I haven’t seen any action on the others. I started to worry that it was some utility work in conjunction with the newly renovated house on the cul de sac. Maybe Tim can shed some light?

ParticipantI hate to say but that was for some UG utility work. The tree roots have not been rooted out and are still part of the route. I have been tempted to take my patching torch and a tamper and soften the tarmac and hammer the high points down.

ParticipantThere was a nasty bump there. There isn’t one anymore. One less bump is probably a good thing.

ParticipantOne down, more to go! It definitely brought a smile to my face the first time I smoothly rolled over it.

I’m planning on reporting utility problems at 10 or 12 more locations down the hill from that one.

Let us know how you report them (i.e. how you describe them) and we can pile on.

It took me all morning to get that joke. Maybe I should start having coffee before the ride instead of after.

ParticipantThose are nasty, the weaving you have to do to avoid possible flats makes you look like a drunken monkey.
Hope they move on to the rollers up by Lee and 66 by the pedestrian overpass near Mccoy park.

ParticipantThat’s the dreaded h20 bottle ejector section. I saw a few more down there when I was recovering mine from before.

The roots are always cringe worthy, but the rollers sneak up on you. I was behind a guy who almost ate some pavement because he didn’t see them coming while he was riding with no hands. Hit the first one and had a total “OH %&$#!” moment.

there is one root bump on the path near the bottom of the rollers hill that has almost taken me out. I forget it is there and hit it unprepared.

ParticipantOn todays am ride I noticed that they have repaired some of the root bumps. The first area looks like it was for utility but they have removed some root bumps too. Why not all I don’t quite understand but some is better then none
