Custis Trail Interruption – 8/28 – 8/31

That’s at the bottom of the hill, so riders should use caution. I noticed some fencing being put up this morning.

Depending on how much of the trail they take, it might be worth taking this simple detour:

So inquiring minds want to know, is the section of the trail between Harrison and the former Bridge of Eternal Darkness on the south side of 66 officially part of the Custis Spurt? Or is this the Custis Spurt Junior?

No…Duh! It’s not even near the Spurt.
And it’s the former Underpass of Eternal Darkness, not Bridge.

That trail could use a creative name, however. How about the Wayne F. Anderson Bikeway West?
