So on the glorified sidewalk called the Custis trail in Rosslyn, there are now two pavement issues between Nash and Oak that basically take the most crowded part of the path down to one lane. At first it seemed like the powers that be were working on fixing the issues, but I believe it’s been a week with no progress on either. What’s going on?

Get it? BAt signal? For BikeArlington? Ok, I’m punchy.

It’s probably more of the fiber optic work. It’s been passed along to the contractor in charge.

I noticed that the plywood of eternal peril has been replaced.

They did an awesome job of replacing the hole too.

    Dirt.

There’s a fun sign at Fort Myer/Custis saying something about “CONSTRUTION” right now. I stared at it for a while as I waited for the light on the way home today.

I’ve been wondering about the markings along the sidewalk all through that intersection. are we going to be seeing a lot of digging this winter?
