I did the full Arlington loop this morning. In addition to the Lyon Village tree down, going sout from Memorial Bridge there were two trees down blocking the trail. Then the fence riverside on the humpback bridge was down blocking a portion of the eastside lane. If you head west on the 4 Mile Run Trail in Domion Hills, there is a tree down blocking the trail just west of Patrick Henry. Lots of debris everywhere, but overall Arlington seems to have fared better than it did in the windstorm in late July.
I also did the full Arlington loop, and all downed trees mentioned in earlier post had been cleared with chainsaws or moved off to the side. Lots of leaves, sticks on the Custis especially, and in wooded areas of MVT, but everything is passable. W&OD east of Bluemont all clear, including road underpasses.
