A member of this forum, jeffporetsky, was hit by a car at Arcola Avenue and Orebaugh Avenue in Silver Spring last Thursday. Here’s the link to the ride on MapMyRide. He’s still in Suburban Hospital with a shattered tibia and fibula and concussion/traumatic brain injury. He has no memory of anything before departure until Friday afternoon, and is still waiting on the police report. However, looking at the ride, it appears he was riding where he was supposed to be.
That’s awful, I hope he makes a quick recovery.
