    I’ve never calculated the savings of this, but it’s always one of the things I highlight on the rare occasions I get asked about biking to work. I mean, I still shower after my ride home, but it’s usually just a quick rinse…much less than the long, sleepy, morning shower that I would be taking at home if I wasn’t riding to work.

    With subsidized Metro, I’m not really saving anything – that might not last the way things are trending though. Also, I eat WAY more food biking 120+ miles a week.

    Same, but that just means I can actually finish the crazy portion sizes they serve here! (And have elevenses.)
