Conditions MVT Between DCA and Old Town

Trail reasonably clear with sticks and twigs abundant

Tree down across trail about 1/2 mile south of Four Mile Run but room to get around in grass.

Trail blocked just south of split to the river at north end of Old Town

Fat tire beater is the ride tomorrow!

Going north from the DCA, the fence leading up to the humpback bridge was down blocking a portion of the eastside lane. Then there were two trees down blocking the trail as you approach Memorial Bridge.

MVT from 4 mile run to Old Town was largely clear this AM except for 2 trees down between the power plant and the trail split just to the north. When I went through at 7:15 ish there was a crew clearing one of the trees and I presume they were working their way up to the other one. This stretch should be clear by now.

Wilson Bridge is clear up to Oxon Hill road, but coming down the hill in Oxon Hill Farm there is a large tree across the road. Takes a bit of bike carrying to get over it but it’s possible. After that the trail is clear north to Bolling AFB, NRL and DC Water Blue Plains.
