College Park Trolley Trail

Greenbelt, you intrepid cycling explorer, you. What’s the signage like? I recognized part of the trail from the shop ride from Proteus, but there seemed to be a lot of ins and outs and arounds which would challenge even a homing pigeon. Mike

Zero signage. But you basically follow the electric poles — the old trolley line used to be alongside the electric line, so the trail just basically goes along the same route. I expect signage will improve when the dirt section gets paved, and when the sections behind those new condos in Hyattsville are connected up. But nothing now — just use the force.

Wow, talk about a fragmented trail (now). Hope they get it paved, linked, and sign-posted soon.

I wish northern VA was building more trails….
