Aww man! The biggest bummer is the Saturday/Sunday rule. I don’t suppose belated summer vacation counts?
The only bike I’m going to see for the next week+ is the one I’m renting to tour Kyoto, which will fall on Wednesday.
Good luck with your Kyoto ride. I spent about six hours one Sunday getting lost on a bike there in January 2010. I think I rented from Kyoto Cycling Tour Project, Inc. (KCTP). Came back to Snowmageddon after stopping in Ulaanbaatar. I’m sure everyone hopes you don’t bring that weather back with you. :p If you are ever in Tokyo on the weekend, I highly recommend the Tokyo Great Cycling Tour, I did both their Saturday and Sunday rides.

Vacations count!
So do non-traditional schedules. So if you are going to a coffee shop in Kyoto (super jealous by the way!), you are good to go!

ParticipantCoffeeneuring #1 is done. Stopped in Navodnitsky Park after the fast loop (mile 54 of 63 mile ride) and got an Americano from a pink snail. Civic leaf raking going on in the park.

I can’t wait to see all these coffee trucks that you visit, Chris!
Gina and I just managed coffee at Kindred.

ParticipantI guess my question is where I should post my Coffeeneuring ride photo, here or on the ride photos thread on the other sub-topic. Seems like overkill to put them both places and on Facebook, but not everyone looks at the treads. Decisions, decisions …

I would just put them on the coffeeneuring Facebook page unless they are particularly interesting or novel.

We couldn’t compete with a pink snail.
I just found out there’s a brewpub version of this challenge in the spring. Too bad nobody in this group will be interested.
