Hi Everyone-
Just wanted to let you know that there are still about 50 spots left for the NYC to DC Climate Ride from September 21-25. It’s a fully supported multi-day charity ride with all of the proceeds (after the costs of the ride) going to various national and local environmental and climate change awareness non-profits. The Washington Area Bicyclist Association is one of the beneficiaries, and if you sign up to ride for WABA with 100% of your fundraising going to us, there are a few extra benefits you’ll get: We have our own special WABA Climate Ride jersey, we’re organizing some training rides, happy hours to meet everyone, help with your fundraising and other good stuff. You do have to raise a minimum of $2400 to participate. I’m the WABA liaison and will be doing the ride myself, as a first timer! You can contact me at gina@waba.org for more information.
