This will just be a real casual thing – nothing organized at all, but I thought it might be fun to get together on a nice evening and, being that it’s the last day in May, an excuse is the local teams’ doing so well in the NBC this month. If Zanna can join us, we could also celebrate her successful completion of the Climate Ride. And we can also offer encouragement to Kelonwheels, who will be there, before she tackles her hill of doom again. Not that we need excuses for a get-together!

All are welcome – newbies too. If you know ahead of time that you’re planning to come, it might help if you could let me know, but last minute decisions are fine also. And if anyone needs to drive, there’s lots of free parking after 6:30.

Challenge riders: Don’t forget to log in any May 31 milege, including any to and from Shirlington, by midnight tomorrow!

More details: $2 pints of standard brews all evening til closing, $2 pints of seasonals and half price appetizers til 7 p.m.

I would love to come but I’m leaving tonight for New York. And no, I’m not planning on biking back from NYC on my own :p But I did have an absolutely amazing experience on the ride so I’ll be doing it again next year for sure!

I no longer have an easy babysitter available (my mum was staying with us for a while) but I’ll try to make it. May has been my biggest cycling month ever, even though my main bike has been in the shop for half of it and there were quite a few days where I had no chance to ride.

I may actually be there before 6:30pm. Strange as it sounds, 6:30pm is “late” for me – I’m usually done with dinner by 6pm. Also, I suspect their happy hour will be 4-7pm. I don’t need other people around to enjoy my beer anyway.
