After a couple of “take a giraffe to work days”, Giraffey was in the mood to indulge in some forbidden Fireball… and generously shared with his newfound buddies. We agreed to restock Calvinball with some chocolate (from one chocoholic to hopefully another), and to venture into the District tomorrow morning, but just barely, and with the hope to be settled into a spot just a stone’s throw from the Potomac by 9am.

MMMMM…. wish I’d found Giraffey after you… Dark chocolate is THE BEST!
Also — make damn sure Giraffey properly recycles that nuisance bottle!!

Giraffey has just arrived in the District, but just barely. He found a quiet spot to share some quality time with the “Forgotten Founder”, and although not in eye shot of the Potomac, he still gets whiffs of it’s aroma. He’s hoping that a late commuting Fed might provide him with an opportunity to observe how the gears of government work with at least a half day of “Take a Giraffe to Work Day”. And no need to worry about the Fireball bottle! Giraffey already diligently deposited it in the recycle bin.

Tempting — I get out of work at 3:30 and could dash over there. Not sure if I’m “allowed” to have it twice in such a short period, though, in the rules….
