Caboose Brewing is open, finally!

@GB says we need a happy hour this week at the new brewery. His initial suggestion was Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday, but after some conversations with folks, it’s looking like Friday is panning out to be the preferred choice. What time should it start? 5:30? 6:00? Should I meet @hozn at 4:00 and stay till 7:00? Looks like @GB, @Dickie, and @Rockford10 are in so far…who else?

With all the Bike to Work Month things going on, including a PAL happy hour at Heavy Seas Alehouse in Rosslyn on May 21, I haven’t planned a regular Third Thursday for May. This Friday at new Caboose Brewing sounds like a great alternative.

In addition, forum members might want to join those who earned Bike to Work Week Crystal City jerseys at the Blues and Brews event at the Crystal City Water Park on June 3. I hope to make it to that.

SteveO has mentioned that plans are also in the works for a send off event for Consularrider, perhaps in DC. If that plan doesn’t come together for any reason, we’ll have a send off for Chris at Capital City Brewing Co., so stay tuned!

Sounds like it’s starting at 4 and will end when they close. My better half and I will likely arrive around 6/6:30. The patio is dog friendly and we are planning to bring ours.

I’m in! Not exactly sure if I’ll be with the early crew (Hozn) or the late crew (GB), or be there the entire time with the lush (dkel)…. regardless, it’s going to be epic.

Yeah…I can stay from 4:00 till whenever, but if there’s a big gap between @hozn leaving around 4:30 (as he did last week) and arrival of anyone else around 6:00, I’ll probably go back to work and return for the late shift. I’m not sitting by myself for an hour and a half (i.e. no, I’m not actually a lush)!

Giving this a bump. Happy hour Friday at Caboose Brewing: early shift starts at 4:00 (probably), late shift sometime after 5:30 (as far as I can tell). If anyone has any info that can clarify the schedule more than that, I’d like to hear it.
