Capital Bikeshare is having another party at Lost Dog Cafe on Columbia Pike on March 27th. I went to the last one in Clarendon and had a good time mingling with other Capital Bikeshare riders. Lost Dog also has a huge beer selection. I’ll buy a beer for anybody from the Forum that shows up. To sign up, visit:

    I’ll do my best.

Free beer?! Well, I mean, twist my arm and all that. ;)

I will try my best to make it.

Hey Judd, any recommended routes from DC to Lost Dog on Columbia Pike? Google maps wants me to ride on the Pike for most of it, which I feel like might be a bad idea…

You don’t want to just take the right lane going up the Pike (which is what I do)?

This route will get you there mostly on trails but with a couple of crossings across ramps. You could also modify to avoid the crowds of people on the Mall this week.

For that route, you can avoid all the bad crossings along 50 by substituting Pershing to Fillmore instead.
